Kandahar Fatemeyya Mosque
A suicide bombing at the Fatemeyya Mosque, one of the Shiite mosques, during Friday prayers in the city of Kandahar, southern Afghanistan, killed at least 47 worshippers and wounded more than 70 others. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement on Saturday.
