On this day, July 23, 2016, two suicide bombers targeted a large group of peaceful demonstrators associated with the Enlightening Movement, killing 84 people, and injuring 400 more (the victims were mostly Hazara university and school students). The IS-KP claimed responsibility.
در این روز، یعنی ۲ اسد ۱۳۹۵ خورشیدی، دو انتحارگر داعش، گروه بزرگی از تظاهرکنندگان مسالمت آمیز جنبش روشنایی را هدف قرار دادند و ۸۴ نفر را کشته و بیشتر از ۴۰۰ نفر را زخمی کردند. قربانیان این حادثه اکثراً دانش آموزان مکاتب و محصلین دانشگاه از مردم هزاره بودند. مسئولیت حمله را داعش بر عهده گرفت.
