Sakhi Qurbani, victim of

Tala wa Barfak, Baghlan Province

Armed men in northern Afghanistan ambushed Hazara coal miners, killing at least eight of them. The attack occurred in the Tala-wa-Barfak district of Baghlan Province, which is one of the key coal-mining centers in northern Afghanistan. According to Faiz Mohammad Amiri, the district governor of Tala wa Barfak, the miners were traveling on a passenger bus returning to their homes in central Daykundi Province when they were attacked. Those who were killed were from Daykundi Province, and all of them were Hazara.

افراد مسلح در شمال افغانستان معدنچیان هزاره را در یک کمین هدف قرار دادند و حداقل هشت نفر از آنان را به قتل رساندند. این حمله در ولسوالی تاله و برفک در ولایت بغلان، که یکی از مراکز مهم استخراج زغال‌سنگ در شمال افغانستان می باشد، رخ داده است. به گفتهٔ فیض محمد امیری، ولسوال تاله و برفک، معدنچیان در یک اتوبوس مسافربری در حال بازگشت طرف خانه‌های شان در مرکز ولایت دایکندی بودند که مورد حمله قرار گرفتند. افرادی که کشته شده اند از ولایت دایکندی و همه شان هزاره هستند.
